Day 1: Lukla → Phakding
(Trek: ~3-4 hours | Distance: 8 km)
  • Altitude: 2,840 m → 2,610 m (9,317 ft → 8,563 ft).
  • Gentle descent through pine forests & Sherpa villages along the Dudh Koshi River.
Day 2: Phakding → Namche Bazaar
(Trek: ~6-7 hours | Distance: 10 km)
  • Altitude: 2,610 m → 3,440 m (8,563 ft → 11,286 ft).
  • Cross high suspension bridges & climb steadily into the vibrant Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar.
Day 3: Namche Bazaar → Tengboche
(Trek: ~5-6 hours | Distance: 10 km)
  • Altitude: 3,440 m → 3,860 m (11,286 ft → 12,664 ft).
  • Stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam & Lhotse.
  • Visit the serene Tengboche Monastery.
Day 4: Tengboche → Dingboche
(Trek: ~6-7 hours | Distance: 11 km)
  • Altitude: 3,860 m → 4,410 m (12,664 ft → 14,469 ft).
  • Trek through rhododendron & juniper forests, cross Imja Khola & reach windswept valley of Dingboche.
Day 5: Dingboche → Lobuche
(Trek: ~6-7 hours | Distance: 8 km)
  • Altitude: 4,410 m → 4,910 m (14,469 ft → 16,109 ft).
  • Pass climbers’ memorials at Thukla Pass before walking along the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche.
Day 6: Lobuche → Gorak Shep → Everest Base Camp
(Trek: ~7-8 hours | Distance: 13 km)
  • Altitude: 4,910 m → 5,170 m → 5,364 m (16,109 ft → 17,126 ft → 17,598 ft).
  • Reach Gorak Shep, then hike to legendary Everest Base Camp, surrounded by icefalls & prayer flags.
Day 7: Kala Patthar Hike → Descend to Pheriche/Namche
(Trek: ~7-8 hours | Distance: 12-15 km)
  • Altitude: 5,170 m → 5,545 m → 4,240 m (17,126 ft → 18,192 ft → 13,910 ft).
  • Early morning climb to Kala Patthar for best Everest sunrise views, then descend to Pheriche or Namche.
Day 8: Return to Lukla
(Trek: ~7-8 hours | Distance: 18 km)
  • Altitude: 3,440 m (11,286 ft) → 2,840 m (9,317 ft).
  • Retrace the trail through Sherpa villages & forests, ending your trek at Lukla.

  • Weather conditions may cause flight cancellations.
  • Delays are possible any time of year, more typical in summer.
  • Keep 3-4 buffer days in your itinerary.

We get it — plans change! You can reschedule your trek at no extra cost if you inform us at least 15 days before your original arrival date.

Cancellations
Cancel 15 days or more in advance, and we’ll refund 25% of your deposit. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 15 days before arrival are non-refundable.
